this outfitter does short pack in hunts from the ranch to prime deer and elk country. in the case of fully guided hunts lodging and meals is tent base and provided. in the case of the pack in or unguided hunts you are on your own except as far as getting your elk out. he has the horses and that can be the winning card when you have an elk down. this area can be difficult to draw so around crawford, colorado. contact me for the available hunting units that we can offer.
ranch based hunts: oct. 16-20, oct. 20-31, nov. 6-14, nov. 17-21 guided $3850.00 per hunter includes:
• 5 days hunting- arrive day before, depart day after
• 2 x 1 guiding • pack out of 1 game animal per hunter
• lodging in guest house lodge
• all meals in dinner bell cookhouse (or in the field)
• riding horse for duration of hunt
• 1 guided fishing trip to ranch ponds or smith fork creek (after tag is filled)
• use of ranch amenities- billiards table, game and exercise rooms, hot tub, etc.
• use of rifle range
does not include
• cost of hunting license
• sales tax
• meat processing and taxidermy fees
• 1 x 1 guiding ($750 extra)
• pack out of more than 1 game animal per person
